Instructions for using the MEDIUM calisthenics equipment

UNHOOKING: Hanging from the bar, raise your knees alternately or simultaneously. Experienced users can raise their straight legs to a horizontal position or straddle their legs.
LEGLIFT: Stretch your arms upwards and hold on to the crossbar at shoulder width. Lift your feet off the floor and hang for a few seconds.
PULL-UPS: Stand at right angles to the device. Grasp the handrail ladder with both hands shoulder-width apart so that the palms of your hands are facing your face and your head is outside the bar at the side. Now slowly pull yourself up as far as possible with a pull-up.
TIPP: Try out different grip variations on the pull-up bar (e.g. palm facing your face or facing the device) to work different muscle groups.

SWINGING: Grasp the access pole of the horizontal ladder and, hanging by your hands, shimmy along the crossbars to the other end.
SIT-UPS: Lie on the lying surface with your head down and your legs bent and place your feet under the crossbar. Slowly and purposefully raise your entire upper body towards your knees and lower it again. Keep your arms at your sides.
BACKMASSAGE: Stand with your back against a massage bar and massage your back with up and down movements and gentle left/right movements.
MASSAGE BEHIND LEGS: Hold on to a massage bar. Place the leg facing the device on the bar. Slowly move your leg forwards and backwards on the support surface.

STRETCHING: The system can be used for various stretching exercises. For example, place your leg frontally on the crossbar and tilt your upper body forwards.
The massage bars can also be used for various stretching exercises.

Tips for effective training
Training preparation
Before starting calisthenics strength training, it is important to warm up properly to prevent injuries and prepare the body for the upcoming exertion, such as hanging exercises.
Training intensity
The training intensity in calisthenics depends on your individual fitness level and athletic goals. For beginners, it is advisable to start training slowly and pay attention to proper technique. Advanced athletes can increase the intensity by incorporating more complex movements such as muscle-ups or one-armed pull-ups. An effective method for increasing intensity is to shorten the rest periods between sets to about 60–90 seconds or to increase the number of repetitions.
Training duration
The duration of a calisthenics training session can vary, but should average between 30 and 60 minutes. This time frame allows you to effectively train all major muscle groups while allowing sufficient time for warm-up and cool-down.
Frequently asked questions about the MEDIUM calisthenics system
Calisthenics is a training method that uses only your own body weight as resistance. Typical exercises include push-ups, pull-ups, squats, dips, and planks. This form of training improves strength, flexibility, endurance, and body control.
Training 3–4 times a week is recommended. This allows for sufficient recovery and continuous progress. It is important to listen to your body and take breaks when necessary.
Start with basic exercises such as wall push-ups, squats, and planks. Gradually work your way up to more challenging variations. Online tutorials or local groups can provide additional support.
