playfit® PULL-UP TRAINER AS AN INTRODUCTION TO CHALLENGING STRENGTH TRAINING

Pull-ups on the horizontal bar – a real challenge for many people. If you want to slowly and easily train yourself to perform pull-ups correctly on the horizontal bar, the playfit® outdoor pull-up trainer is just the right piece of exercising equipment for you and is a useful addition to other strength training.

Stand and Pull – Areas of application

Almost anyone can perform pull-ups on this equipment, making it suitable for beginners who are not confident enough to train on classic pull-up training equipment such as horizontal bars and calisthenics equipment.

But it can also be interesting for athletes, as the pull-up trainer is useful for the correct execution of the movement sequence.
The level of difficulty of the training can be influenced depending on where you position your hands along the handlebars by and by the number of repetitions.

TRAINING EFFECT & TRAINING GOALS

In today’s world, where the majority of people spend a large part of their day sitting in front of a desk and/or computer, healthy support of the back muscles is essential.

An important feature of the playfit® outdoor pull-up trainer is the fact that it gently trains numerous muscle groups at the same time:

  • arms
  • shoulders
  • abdominals
  • back

The main focus is on the back muscles.

Targeted training of the back muscles promotes an upright gait and can prevent postural damage.
While exercising on the playfit® pull-up trainer is mainly aimed at strength, it also helps improve flexibility.

ADVANTAGES OF THE STAND AND PULL

This training device offers an easy introduction to an otherwise difficult strength exercise.

As the pull-up trainer focuses on the correct execution of the movement sequence, every user is given the perfect start to targeted training to strengthen the shoulders, upper arms and back muscles.

The equipment is self-explanatory, arouses curiosity and is therefore highly motivating.

INDIVIDUAL TRAINING

Instructions for use

Training duration

You can of course choose the duration of your training as desired. To get started, we recommend
2 – 5 repetitions with 2 – 3 rounds.

Increasing the level of difficulty

You can increase the intensity of the training by gradually increasing the number of repetitions up to 10 – 15 repetitions with the same number of rounds.
The further out you reach, the more effort you need for the exercise.

Conclusion

The playfit® Stand and Pull makes strength training literally “within reach” for everyone.

FAQs

What are classic mistakes in pull-up training?

With the classic pull-up, the head is often in the wrong position. Make sure that your nose is not pointing upwards and that your chin is not touching your chest. Keep your head pointing straight ahead throughout the exercise.

How many times a week can you train with the pull-up trainer?

As with all training, regular repetitions lead to training success. If the exercises are performed correctly, you can train 2 – 3 times a week on the outdoor pull-up trainer to achieve optimum training results.

Can the level of difficulty of the pull-up trainer be regulated?

You can increase the strength of the training by gripping the handles on the pull-up trainer further out and increasing the number of repetitions. There are no adjustable resistance levels, as these are not recommended for unsupervised outdoor use.
