Application for individual training
Instructions for use
- Sit on the seat and place your feet in the middle and hip-width apart against the footrest or foot bar.
- Use the strength in your legs to push forward against the footrest, without fully extending your legs.
- Hold the position briefly, then slowly return to the starting position in a controlled manner.
Tips
Training intensity
To specifically increase the level of difficulty, perform the exercise so that one leg alternately exerts more pressure than the other.
Training duration
To increase the training intensity, you can also increase the training duration and the number of repetitions per set.

The leg press fitness machine is designed for a maximum person weight of 120 kg.
For a targeted warm-up of the whole body, we recommend a playfit® endurance machine, such as the Elliptical or the Ski Walker. If you mainly want to warm up your leg muscles, you can make good use of the strength endurance fitness machine leg press, as the effort required with this piece of sports equipment is low.
Beginners should perform 2 – 3 sets of 5 – 10 repetitions each. If you train regularly on the outdoor leg press, we recommend 15 – 25 repetitions per set to increase your performance.
